Removing Makeup-beauty

Though makeup does fade during the course of the day, you still need to remove it thoroughly at night, especially if the makeup is oil based. If you don't completely remove your makeup daily, it can attract dirt, clog pores, and cause breakouts. Women who use water based products may be able to remove all of the makeup with the same cleanser used on the face in the morning. However, oil based makeup used on dry or combination skin will need. to be removed with a makeup removal product. One brand to try is Dermablend Remover/Nettoyant.

Makeup removers are formulated for skin type. Once you've selected one for your skin, apply the product according to instructions. You may need to leave it on your skin for several minutes to give it time to dissolve the cosmetics. Use tissue or cotton balls to gently wipe away the residue. Cotton swabs may be more useful for the sensitive eye area (but avoid cotton if you wear contact lenses). Take care not to tug or pull at your skin. If makeup does not come off, you may need to apply additional remover or switch to a more effective product. Women with sensitive skin should avoid products containing irritants such as alcohol and fragrance.

To make makeup removal easier and less time consuming, you may want to avoid using "waterproof" products like mascara. "Water resistant" mascara does not last as long and may smudge more readily, but it is more easily removed than a waterproof product. (Also, how often do you go swimming with mascara on?) Pencil and powder eyeliner or eyebrow makeup will be easier to remove than liquid products. (If you wear contact lenses, look for eye makeup labeled "for contact-lens wearers" to avoid irritation.) Your choice of makeup formulas depends, of course, on personal preference, but consider the time you're willing to devote to makeup removal before you buy.

Makeup and Allergies

Occasionally, makeup ingredients can trigger allergic reactions. These reactions most commonly occur on the upper and lower eyelids from eye makeup such as eyeliner and mascara because of the preservatives these products contain. Signs you may have a makeup allergy may also include a rash, swelling, or excessive wrinkling of the skin around the eyes. Also, you may develop a sudden breakout on the skin or a rash around the lips (owing to dye in some lipsticks). If you notice a reaction, stop using the product immediately. Take an antihistamine to relieve symptoms if the reaction persists. If reactions continue no matter what product you use, schedule an appointment with a dermatologist or an allergist. The physician can administer an allergy patch test to determine what specifIc ingredient your skin may be reacting to. One way to avoid potential triggers of allergic reaction is to patch test the product on your skin before use. If you are allergic to your mascara, you might try applying a small amount of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) to lashes for a fuller, thicker appearance.

In the year 1978, one of the most famous movie musicals in the USA is brought to the screen.

Grease is one of the events, the most significant film of the late seventies and will affect a worldwide generation of teenagers. We loved Grease; we wanted to look like Sandy, Rizzo, Marty, Danny, Keneckie or Fonzy. If you were a teenager thirty years ago, you surely sang "You're The One That I Want" and "Summer Nights".

Halloween is the opportunity to realize our dreams. I dreamed to look like Rizzo. If I choose not to dress a witch costume for this Halloween, I probably will choose Rizzo's costume.

Grease is full of characters and then of different costumes based on the fifties teenagers clothing:

Sandy is blonde, naive and she fell in love with Danny.

Rizzo, leader of the Pink Ladies, is a teenager who lives free according to her own laws. She broke with Danny and is Keneckie's girlfriend.

The Pink Ladies: Frenchie, Marty, Jane are the Pink Ladies. They are generally frivolous, only interested by themselves and want to please the T-Birds.

Danny is the hero of the movie. He is the leader of the T-Birds, rebels of Rydell High School. He is in love with Sandy, but refuses to admit it.

Keneckie is Danny's best friend; he is also the second T-Birds leader. He lives a passionate love story with Rizzo.

The T-Birds: Sonny, Doody and Fonzy.

Makeup Application-how to Achieve a Stunning Daytime Natural Look With Makeup

Do you want to be a daytime diva?  Are you ready for a look that is great for all of your daytime activities?  Well, follow these steps for makeup application and achieve a stunning, yet natural daytime look.  This is perfect for everyday wear and will be appropriate from the boardroom to a stroll in the park.

Use Tinted Moisturizer.  For easy daytime wear, use a tinted moisturizer instead of a crème, powder, or liquid foundation.  This is perfect for summer and will give your face a fresh dewy look.  To give your face an added punch of color, use a crème blush and get an “inner glow” look.  A great tinted moisturizer is LORAC’s ProtecTINT SPF 30 Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer, and our pick for a crème blush is NARS Crème blush.

Add a Luscious Liner.  Many may think that wearing eyeliner will negatively affect the “natural look” that you are going for, but it will only add to the effect if you use this trick.  Apply liner to your upper lashes underneath instead of on top.  Cake liners are a safe bet if you are new to makeup application.  To apply, take an eyeliner brush and add the cake liner.  Next, gently push the color up and underneath the roots of your top lashes.  You have instantly created invisible definition and your eyes will look more open.  If you are the more advanced makeup wearer, a liquid liner works great as well.  A wonderful, eco-friendly liner is NVEY ECO Organic Cake Eyeliner.  A liquid liner that I recommend is Givenchy Parad’Eyes Fluid Eye Liner.

Eye-Brightening Mascara.  Touches of mascara can be used as an eye brightener.  For women with light-eyes, layering brown mascara over blue will offer an eye brightening and more alert effect in a very subtle manner.  For dark-eyed women, layer brown mascara over green to achieve the same effect.  If you want volume that is buildable, Shu Uemura Precise Volume Mascara Waterproof is a customer favorite that works well with this technique.

Finish with a Natural-Colored Lip.  A finishing touch to a natural face is at the center of the face, the lips!  Using a lip pencil all over instead of lipstick will look sheer, natural, and be long lasting.  You will want to use a natural colored lip pencil all over the lips, apply it in a light, feathering stroke to make it blend and almost disappear into the lips.  To seal in the pencil, add gloss without shimmer and you will have a flawless look.  Kevin Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil and LORAC Gloss Stick are a dynamic duo that I always use.

Use these four tips to achieve the best natural look possible.  Please note, as with any makeup technique, practice makes perfect.  So after the first few times of trying, you will be able to effortlessly achieve this look and give the cover models on magazines a run for their money!  As always, good luck and I know you will be a stunning daytime diva in no time.

Latest Beauty Fad; Eyelash Extension

The talk of the town…every celebrities our getting hooked on eyelash extension! Why stay in front of the mirror for quite a long time doing the mascara and eyelash curl thing if you can have an eyelash extension?

Eyelash extensions are worn by almost every female celebrity, and all the other females out there! If what you ever wished for is having thick and longer lashes and yet you’re tired of doing the old trick, I bet an eyelash extension is what you really need. If you would like remarkable, long, natural looking eyelashes that last longer than mascara, look better than false eyelashes, and can withstand close scrutiny, then the answer is Eyelash Extension – the latest trend nowadays.

Let’s admit it, not every one of us is given perfect lashes and we always dreamt of having one…I myself envy those people out there with full volume and long lashes. Eyes I guess is often the first part of the person’s face that we look up to, those windows of the soul as the old proverb say. If you feel like your lashes are neither too short nor too sparse, don’t worry because you’re not alone…and guess what? There’s something out there that is especially made for us! Don’t dream because it’s over…Eyelash Extensions has been setting the latest trend!

Eyelash extension has been widely accepted since it is perfect for everyday wear as well as special occasions of course. Semi-permanent Eyelash Extension are made from synthetic fibres that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They provide length and thickness to your own lashes and are available in varying lengths and thickness. Each individual lash is applied on a lash by lash basis to your natural lashes with a special bonding agent that can last anywhere from two weeks to two months. You can have a full set or partials—lashes are applied only at the outer corners of the natural lashes—and the service takes anywhere from 30 minutes to two 1/2 hours. There is no need for mascara even though water based mascara is fine to use. The result is thicker, longer, eye opening eyelashes that are safe in the shower, while swimming, sleeping or exercising.

Remember to avoid rubbing the eyes or putting on mascara, and sometimes lying face down since this might damage your eyelash extension. You won’t want to ruin the prefect lashes you finally had after an eyelash extension, right? What a great offer it is for us women with short and sparse eyelashes, isn’t it? Eyelash Extensions create a longer, thicker and fuller look that almost every woman desires because more attractive eyelashes get noticed!

Eye Makeup Tips

It is well known: eyes are the window of the soul. It seems our eye beauty is unadorned, but this is not always the case. Sometimes it is better to whitewash something and to make some accents. You know it is easy to guess a person's age by wrinkled or bright skin around the eyes. Forbid seeing your real age! Accurate eye makeup can do wonders!

You should just obey a common sense. Try to follow some simple rules and there should be no problems with maintaining eye health, beauty and safety.

Use hypoallergenic makeup only, eyes are so sensitive!

Never apply eye makeup in a car, even you are slow in keeping an appointment.

Don't use waterproof mascara. Its fragments can offend your eyes.

Don't use eyeliner on the rim of the eye.

Don’t get too close to the eye with any type of makeup.

Never swap eye makeup sponges or brushes with any person, keep them clean and wash your sponges and brushes more often.

Never put on makeup if your eyes are red or become dropsically; you may irritate them more.

Pick up an appropriate eye makeup remover! It has a fundamental importance, especially for sensitive eyes.

Potatoes and cucumbers will reduce the appearance of dark, under-eye circles.

For great looking eyes makeup you need your own technique depending on your eyes and brows form and color, skin type and shade, your hair type and so on. On the other hand there are some common recipes how you should use powder shadows for a natural look and an eyeliner pencil for speaking glance at night. It is really not as difficult to look like a movie star as you apprehend. Follow our advices and you will achieve success.

1. Start with a pearly light gold eye shadow on the upper portion of the over eyelid. Then some rose-colored eye shadow, it should be applied to the outer half of each lid. Use either a dark chocolate brown or deep wine color eyeliner pencils. Finish by curling you eye lashes and applying a black, lengthening mascara.

2. Use neutral eye shadow and pencil tones to make natural, classic look. Prefer brown eye shadow on the lower portion of the eye lid with a darker brown in the eye lid crease. Add a touch of glamour by using a cream or pale beige across the upper portion of the eyelid. Next apply black or black-brown mascara. You need two or three coats of mascara.

3. Prefer a very light, pearly eye shadow and medium or dark brown eyeliner. Elegance and plainness of style may be added by light touch of eye brow pencil and two or three coats of black, thickening mascara over curled lashes. Find more makeup tips at Makeup Cosmetics Blog.

Natural Eye Makeup for Summer

It is summer and it's time to get relaxed and enjoy the nice weather. Give your makeup a break and try the natural makeups. Specially if you have an oily skin. This will provide you a fresher look and a more attractive style. The most natural eye makeup is the one that stays at the basic makeup items: eyeshadow and mascara.

First of all, have a proper skin care routine: clean, hydrate, treat, protect, and only than use makeup products. After the skin is completely clean and hydrated, get used to apply a sunscreen cream with a high protection factor. It is essential for keeping your skin young and to prevent age spots.

After you prepared your skin for the makeup, choose the softest and warmer colors from your eye shadows. The colors are just as important as the way we apply them. Use light pink, blue, purple or golden shades to get the fresh look. Apply it on your upper eye lid and a thin line for the lower eye lid.

Concerning the eye liner or eye pencil, choose the brown ones, you'll need a softer look to make sure it matches to your fresh style. Use it do define your eyes according to your eye shape. Of course, not using an eye pencil would be the best choice. But if you really “need” to use it, try to make it as unnoticeable as possible.

The mascara should be waterproof, so that you can enjoy the summer in any situation: during work, at the beach or spending your day near a swimming pool. But pay attention when cleaning it off. It is harder than the usual mascara, and if you don't take it of carefully it may break your eyelashes. You can opt for using eye curler, but having a break from them will help you out in the winter season. The mascara should be lighter as well, so pick the brown shaded ones.

Keep in mind to stick to the minimum: neutral shaded eye shadow and mascara. As lighter the makeup is, as fresher it looks. It will brighten your face and your entire look.

For the summer makeups, try to avoid foundations, use powder instead. A slight touch of blush and the lightest shade of gloss. Remember that the sun will make it's job so keep in mind that your skin needs protection and a very fresh look.

It always a good experience to attend a College Reunion. It is an Occasion where you unite with your old School/College friends and share your olden memories. I just recently went to my college reunion and found out that most of the girls used makeup and cosmetics in School time. And now when they have grown they have started using Skin care products besides Cosmetic in order to revitalize their body & skin and are in a race to look apart from the rest of the crowd.

For Old Age Women Wrinkle Cream will do the best and will help in eliminating the crow lines & Wrinkle lines. Also these creams help in improving the texture of the Skin and helps in becoming Skin firmer. However in order to use Cosmetics daily, here are the list of the products which will help your skin to be more nourishing & Attractive and thus creating Envy for others. Here are some useful tips which will help you get started.

1) Scrubber or Facial Cleanser
Facial cleanser helps in exfoliating your skin thus removing impurities from your skin surface. Some Cleansers are 3-1 that is they do toning also. It is very important to have quality cleaners as it will help your skin to get hydrate.

Natural Makeup Look Tips and Natural Pageant Makeup Tips - How to Get a Natural Makeup Look for Pageants, Weddings, Kids, Special Events and Everyday

Need ideas for creating a soft natural makeup look for everyday use, a Wedding or
Special Event, or for a Natural Pageant?  Outlined below are suggestions for a natural makeup application for three different age groups.

Natural makeup suggestions for younger girls:

1.  Lip Gloss can smear easily on the face and dress, so if this will be a problem, instead of a Lip Gloss try using a Lip Liner pencil.  Simply turn the Lip Liner pencil tip on its side and ‘color in' the lips.  The drier consistency of the Lip Pencil will be less likely to smear.
2.  Using a soft medium-sized Blush Brush, apply a soft pink or peach high-pigment Blush to her cheeks, selecting a tone that will coordinate best with her dress color.
3.  Add sparkle to her eyes by applying a small amount of loose Eye Shadow Dust in an iridescent white, pink or peach to her eyelids.
4.  If she can be very still, you can attempt to apply Mascara to her upper lashes.

Natural makeup suggestions for older girls:

1.  To start, dust the face lightly with a loose face powder.
2.  High-pigment Eye Shadows in neutral tones such as browns, beiges, pale pinks and soft peach tones will compliment her eyes without appearing heavy.  If choosing a pale pink or soft peach eye shadow to blend with the brown eye shadow, be sure to select the color that will best coordinate with her dress color.
3.  If she likes a little sparkle on her eyes, use a loose Eye Shadow Dust in a soft iridescent white, pink or peach on the eyelid to add shine.
4.  Lining the eyes along the top lash line with a brown Eye Liner pencil will help her eyelashes appear thicker.
5.  Finish the eyes with Mascara, applying from the base of the eyelashes to the tips.  Mascara can be applied to both top lashes and bottom lashes, if preferred.
6.  Using a soft medium-sized Blush Brush, add color to her cheeks with a soft pink or peach high-pigment Blush, selecting the one that will coordinate best with her dress color.
7.  A Lip Liner pencil can add definition to her lips, just be sure to apply a very soft line in a similar color tone as the Lip Gloss.
8.  Finish with Lip Gloss to add shine.

Natural makeup suggestions for women:

1.  Apply a very lightweight liquid or powder-based foundation to ‘even out' the skintone.  Carefully select a tone that is an exact match for your skin - check that the color matches in natural daylight.
2.  For dark areas under the eyes, use an opaque concealer product for coverage - carefully pat it in the area.
3.  Blemishes can also be hidden by dotting an opaque concealer directly on the spot.
4.  Brush a loose powder softly over the foundation to 'set' it; this step will provide a smooth powder canvas for your powder eye shadows and powder blushers, and will help your colors stay fresher longer.
5.  If your brows are pale, use an Eyebrow product to softly define them.  Comb a clear Eyebrow Fixative product into the brows to help the eyebrow hairs in place.
6.  Next, use a brown Eye Liner pencil to line along the top of the lash line (you can also add a thin line under the outer corner of the eyes for added definition).
7.  Using a sponge-tipped applicator, apply a high-pigment Eye Shadow in brown in the outer corner and crease of the eyelid.  Apply a pale pink or soft peach shadow on the lid.
8.  If you prefer shimmer on the eyelids, add a small amount of loose Eye Shadow Dust in a iridescent white, pink or peach to the eyelids.
9.  Apply Mascara to the eyelashes, from the base to the tips.  Mascara can be applied to both top and bottom eyelashes if preferred.
10.  Next, softly line the lips using a Lip Liner pencil, then fill in with a Lip Gloss in a similar tone.
11.  Apply high-pigment Blush to the cheeks using a soft medium-sized Blush Brush.  Use a light application, then add more until the desired effect is achieved.

Extra tip:  For a sun-kissed look, try sweeping a very small amount of high-pigment Blush in the crease of the eye, over your brown eye shadow.  Don't overdo!

Another tip for all ages:   For prettiest results, use Lip, Eye and Cheek tones of the same color family.  For example, use a peach blush with a peach lip gloss and a peachy-toned eye shadow to accent the brown eye shadow.

WHY select highly-pigmented makeup colors?   Makeup colors that look best for photography and stage are usually highly-pigmented, meaning they contain strong color pigments and are not sheer.  A highly-pigmented makeup color product will allow the user to apply a small amount to achieve a bit of color or it can provide darker, dramatic color when applied more heavily.  This allows flexibility for the user to achieve her preferred look.  Along with being longer-lasting, the strong color pigment in highly-pigmented makeup colors will hold up against the harsh lighting from cameras and stage lights (no washed-out, ghostly makeup looks).

Get The Look: Au Naturel Vs The Vamp

Makeup looks—on runways or on the street—are ever so dynamic, especially with every change in fashion seasons. But there are two looks that always seem to withstand any season or trend and are always a staple in fashion catwalks: the Au Naturel (no-makeup look) and the Vamp (smoky eyes and sexy pout).

Au Naturel

Nail the no-makeup look

Models on the Spring/Summer 09 runways looked as fresh as the ultra feminine and romantic clothes that they were wearing. The secret was in the makeup look, which actually looked like, well, nothing.

It may look like you’ve got nothing on and, therefore, it would seem like it’s easy to do, but the no-makeup look is actually quite difficult to achieve.

The art of applying makeup that looks natural on skin is not very easy. But it can be, especially if you have great skin. As any makeup artist would tell you: Great skin means less makeup—and less effort. [natural make up]

But if you’re in the middle of a skin breakout or if skin is actually looking dull or sallow these days, you can still fake perfect skin. Here’s how to get the no-makeup look:

But if you’re in the middle of a skin breakout or if skin is actually looking dull or sallow these days, you can still fake perfect skin. Here’s how to get the no-makeup look:

1. Cover up. Apply concealer on discolorations under eye circles, blemishes, etc—and not on the whole face. Foundation is too heavy and would result in a less natural-looking makeup. Most often than not, especially if you have good skin, concealer and loose powder are more than enough to even out skin tone or create a flawless-looking base.

2. Eye makeup: Smoky eyes are definitely not in the no-makeup look equation. For the eyes, try applying colored eye liner closest to the upper lash line. It gives a very subtle hint of color to the eyes.

You’ll actually leave people guessing if you are, indeed, wearing eye makeup. You can do away with mascaras and eye shadows with this nifty trick. But if you must highlight your eyelashes, go ahead. Just make sure to apply a single coat of mascara for a look that’s as close as possible to no eye makeup

3. For cheeks: Cheeks must look like they’re naturally flushed. The key here is to look for blush color that closely mimics your natural flush. Pay close attention to your skin tone. Those with darker skin tones would benefit from blushers with a hint of orange, while those with fair skin can go for pinks.

4. Apply blush: To keep the color in check, set with a high pigment loose powder. But never go overboard on the powder or you’ll risk ruining the effect you want to achieve. And remember to apply blush-on before the loose powder as this will help seal the deal, so to speak, and make blush look more natural.

5. For the lips: Again pay close attention to your lip tone. Nude lip shades may vary for each woman. Some need pink-nude shades to perfectly cop the look of nude lips, while some may need nude shades with more beige or brown tones. Choose the right nude lipstick shade for you and add a hint of gloss with no-color lip gloss.

The Vamp

Achieve perfect smoky eyes

The antithesis to the no-makeup look is smoky eyes. As with any eye makeup, achieving this sexy night time look entails perfect blending. People always equate smoky eyes with black and dark gray eye shadows; but this is not necessarily true.

You can use any color: Just opt for the darker shade of that color. So if you want to use green, opt for dark or emerald green to give your eyes more drama and depth.

There’s also one very important word to remember to achieve smoky eyes: smudge. You have to smudge the color around the rim of the eyes, then blend—from the outer corner of the eye going up till the fold or crease—until there’s a seamless mix of colors.

If you don’t have the time or tools for professional and foolproof eye makeup blending, there’s an infinitely easier way to achieve smoky eyes.

1. Apply a lighter tint of eye shadow on your lids as base, preferably something with shimmer.

2. Next, line the entire rim of eye with dark kohl liner and smudge the line with a cotton bud. The key thing here is to not create a perfectly drawn line: You want to look like you’re wearing eye shadow, and not just eyeliner. But you also have to make sure to smudge well and evenly because you also don’t want to be caught with an obvious, uneven line of black around your eyes.

3. Finish with two to three coats of mascara, and make sure to go for waterproof formulations applying mascara.

4. With smoky eyes, eyebrows should be understated but not obscure. You may simply groom them with eyebrow mascara in the same shade as your eyebrow hairs.

Get full, pouty, sexy lips

A sexy pout—something that would closely resemble Angelina Jolie’s or Megan Fox’s—is something everyone covets. Well, you don’t have to be Angelina or Megan to have sexy and gorgeous lips: It’s all in the application—where to apply and just how much to apply—of your favorite lipstick shade and gloss.

1. Moisturize lips. One important step that everyone almost always forgets is moisturizing lips. This is an important first step. After applying the lip moisturizer of your choice, wait two minutes then bite on a tissue to remove excess moisturizer on lips.

2. Apply lip liner. Lips can be extended a little to start creating the pout. But be careful not to extend the whole lips, maybe just slightly above your Cupid’s bow, or where the upper lip arches—or you might closely resemble, not Angelina or Megan, but the Joker. Lip liners should also match your lip tone, and not your lipstick or gloss.

3. Apply the lip color you want. Ideally, it should not be so different from your lip liner. One to two shades darker or lighter should be enough.

4. Top off lip gloss in a dark tint, avoiding the middle part. Apply another lip gloss color, this time in a lighter tint, on this middle part (the Cupid’s bow). This trick creates the illusion of fuller lips.

5. You may also try those lipsticks and lip glosses with lip-plumping ingredients and formulations (usually with cinnamon and ginger). They do give your lips a gorgeous bee-stung look—and trust me, you’ll also feel the difference.

Steps to Preventing Eyelash Loss ? Eyelash Growth Accelerator

Frustrated with broken or missing eyelashes?

I bet you are. I know I was, so I started to look into this some and see if there was anything I could do about it. Seems like I was my own worst enemy when it came to my eyelash care, and I had no clue I was doing this. I was listening to common advice from friends, but little did I know that I was really hurting my looks!

First common mistake I made was to cut my lashes. Yes, that’s right, I was told that I should cut the lashes and that would make them grow back fuller and thicker. Well, that is true with hair, but eyelashes are totally different. If you cut them they stay that way, so please don’t make this mistake.

Second thing I did wrong was to pluck out some of my lashes. I heard somewhere that if the lash is removed is stimulates others to increase their growth and take its place. The other eyelash was supposed to grow back in a few weeks on its own. As I did this my eye lids looked bald, and the others did not grow to take up that missing space.  Another bad move, please don’t randomly remove lashes.

One thing that helps overall eyelash health is to be careful with mascara. Mascara can make eyes look truly beautiful, but overuse of mascara can harm eyelashes. Careless removal of mascara can badly damage your lashes, and make them brittle like dried out twigs. This can cause them to break off and they won’t grown back unless you pluck them out. So please, be careful with your mascara use.

The only good advice I got on eyelash growth was to use lash growth accelerators. These products are researched and have a serum that contains chemicals to stimulate eyelash growth. They also have proteins that nourish eyelash growth, and conditioners to maintain healthy and fuller eyelashes. I tried these products and found they were easy and safe to use, and within weeks my eyelashes were growing dreamy thick and lusciously long.

There you have it, of the mistakes I have made along the way to grow longer lashes.

Don’t you want to restore a fuller and more beautiful eyelash?

I am sure you do.

Many effective products are available that promote eye brow and eyelash growth to restore your natural beauty.
